Rocky - Playtech Brings Stallone Back To Life

Rocky, the fictional boxer made famous by Sylvester Stallone, has been brought back to life with Playtech's release of a slot based on the films.

The game, which was one of several released by the online gaming software giant in June features characters from all six of the Rocky Balboa films.

The five reel, 25 payline slot includes the Rocky logo as the game scatter that can win players up to 25 free spins and a 2x multiplier.

Spelling out Rocky with the stars and stripes letters wins you 5x your total bet, but the highlight of the game in our opinion is the white punching glove on reel one and the red punching glove on reel five that trigger the knockout bonus round.

In that round, players can choose from three of Rocky's opponents from the hit film series: Lang, Ivan Drago, and of course Apollo Creed.

In the knockout phase, players compete in a 10 round match and for every round Rocky win, a cash prize is awarded. If Rocky hits a knockout before the final round, all following rounds will be automatically won by Rocky as well.

Another feature is the color card gamble which includes a double up limit with a maximum prize of $5,000. This section also features characters from the movie, including Rocky's wife Marie.
