OCR Community Guidelines

Even in a social group that extends well past geographical borders as the gambling world, there is room for a shared community, a meeting place to meet fellow gamblers and exchange information of all sorts. The OCR Community is yours to share with others.

We have suggested some Community Guidelines to direct us all. They, along with the Terms of Use, will help make this a welcoming place and a valuable resource. The Community is for all of us together and for each and every one of us to enjoy. Here are some things to keep in mind.

The Dos

  • Kindness
True, we all enjoy gambling on the web and have joined as members of the Community. Let's all remember that this is a shared space, where we meet people and interact with others who may have similar interests but different tastes; they might be from a different culture entirely. We will be comfortable only if we make everybody else feel comfortable as well. Politeness and respect are the way to go.
  • Honesty
Each Community Member contributes to the common resources of the site, be it by recommending various items, submitting comments or uploading your own contributions. In doing so, please respect original content of others and your own.
  • Acknowledgement
We allow and encourage you to post elements from OCR to outside web sites. Please attach a link to the source from which the items are taken.
  • Have a Great Time
Learn about other gamblers and gaming fans. Meet friends from across the world. Expand your gambling knowledge. Express your ideas and thoughts. Above all - Have a Great Time.

The Don'ts

  • Copy and Copyright
The information you upload must be your own, not copied from others. There is no need to copy from other users or websites.
  • The Audience
We will run filters that assure the content uploaded is fair and respectful of others. We suggest you run a similar test yourself, or flag other comments you find on the site that may be offensive.
  • The Law
Make sure you respect the law and never upload content that is illegal or prohibited in any way.
  • Quality (Part 1)
We want to hear what you have to say. Do you think it's interesting? Stimulating? Perhaps just funny? As long as it is not boring, abusive or all-out intimidating.
  • Quality (Part 2)
Or creepy. Weird is OK, but we don't want you to be creepy.
  • Commercial Free
To keep the Community clear of foreign commercial elements, we ask that you not host logos and banners on your personal pages and public profile. It goes without saying that we expect you not to sell products or services on the site.

Breaching any of these guidelines, Dos and Don'ts alike, will result in warnings that will be sent to you. Repeated occurrences may result in account termination.

We welcome you to the Community and promise you a unique experience, of which you are an important member.
