GPWA

Established in 2001, the Gambling Portal Webmasters Association is a respected, 5000-member organization dedicated to building links between and providing support to online gaming professionals; particularly between affiliates and affiliate programs. The GPWA's online presence consists of an online community and forum as well as pages of useful information on industry-related news and events.

GPWA Forums

There are two categories of forum membership: "public," which is open to anyone interested in online gaming whether as a player or someone employed in the industry, and "private," which is open only to gaming portal webmasters whose sites meet established GPWA standards. Forum users, including newcomers to the industry, say they find the GPWA community a friendly yet professional environment, and that members are generally willing to help each other succeed.

GPWA Seal of Approval

Webmasters who qualify for private membership may also display the GPWA Seal of Approval logo on their sites (see OCR's GPWA seal at the bottom of this page). Currently, 2,000 members have made the grade and received the GPWA stamp.

Industry News

In addition to the news sections on the GPWA site, a weekly newsletter, the GPWA Times, is emailed to all subscribed members. The GPWA Times covers everything from the latest legal wrangling over online gaming, to the best offers from affiliate programs, to video blogs on the most important industry developments. The GPWA Times also publishes a list of upcoming online gaming conferences to help affiliates and other professionals stay in touch and up to date.
