* On December 30, 2008, Sybase Inc. completed its acquisition of paybox solutions AG. The company will be integrated into Sybase 365, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sybase Inc.

Paybox provides services to mobile business and mobile communities enabling mobile commerce and mobile money services.

Paybox set up operator-led, national mobile Payment standards in Germany and Austria. In 2007, Paybox was awarded the Int’ Stevie Award for Best Product in Telecommunications.
