How to Increase Your Baccarat Winning Odds

It is true that we have written in earlier guides that Baccarat systems should be avoided at all costs - because they chase losses rather than wins. Yet there are some strategies out there that professional Baccarat players swear by. Because it is a game of luck, none of them can be proven, but if you are an experienced Baccarat player and can afford to lose a few hands, it may be worth a try.

This is a guide for advanced Baccarat players, therefore it goes without saying that you should understand the game and all its aspects, including basic strategy and rules, before proceeding any further. It is also advised that you familiarize yourself with the many probability tables of various hands for both 6 and 8 deck games, as well as know the commission and house edge standards.

Instructions

Step One

The 1-3-2-6 Baccarat System
This system is a system based on how much money to wager. The main objective of it is to bet a little in the hope that it will return a large amount. The numbers 1, 3, 2, and 6, are the units used to bet on each hand;

On the first hand bet 1 unit. If you win, keep your original bet and winnings in play and add another unit to the bet.
On the second bet put 3 units on the table. If you win the second hand there will be 6 units on the table. Remove 4 of the units.
Your are now left with 2 units on the third bet. If the third bet wins, you will have 4 units on the table; add 2 to equal 6 for the fourth bet.
If you win on the fourth bet you will collect 12 units - 10 of which will be pure profit.

*If at any point you lose, return to stage (a) and start the process again with 1 unit, in order to minimize your losses.

What players love about this system is that the maximum loss on any bet made will never exceed 2 units. The wins and losses of the 1-3-2-6 system are as follows:

If you lose the first bet you lose 1 unit.
If you lose the second bet you lose 2 units.
If you win the first 2 hands and lose on the third, you make a profit of 2 units.

If you win the first the hands and lose on the fourth, you break even money.

Step Two

Tips & Warnings

Remember that the longer you play, the longer the more chance the casino has of coming out ahead. Therefore if using a system such as the 1-3-2-6 system, walk away and cash out your winnings as soon as you start winning!
