Just to keep the growth rate in perspective, the industry was valued at $1.35 billion in the year 2006. Since the United States is prohibiting such a form of gambling as part of its all out ban on gambling, the leaders in the industry in both supplying it and in the customers who sue it are Europe and Asia. The assumptions, however, as to the growth of this form of gambling count the United States in it, as US suppliers of cellular services might succeed in changing the minds of some lawmakers. Then, with regulation that will protect underage gamblers, the market will take on its projected size. |
