The Internet Takes Care of Its OwnLegislation regarding the US ban on online gambling is not said and done with. In the meantime, the Internet keeps its industry alive.

While legislation has, to much criticism and yet with rather effective results, attempted to ban online casinos from availing themselves to US based gamblers, thus cutting off the main market at the time from the industry, the community of gamblers is not sitting idle.

It is not clear if such actions as will be described in the following will alter the existing ban the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, or UIGEA. There is a good chance, however, that a middle ground will be reached, agreed on both sides.

In this sense are the latest developments in US online gambling or the lack there of, is so significant. The thing is that American gamblers are not entirely banned by all online casino operators. Some sites still accept Americans. To find them and how exactly it is done, two blogs have aired in the US, which instruct the answers. Since the market is much more dynamic than a simple how to guide, the blogs update with relevant information.

Not only casinos are listed and presented as accepting Americans. The blogs also update about electronic means of payment, a sensitive matter for the target customers. Legal analysis and mere explanations are also provided.

The goal is stated clearly by the blogs owner. Keeping the market alive and the fire burning will serve an important role in the day, perhaps not too far from today, that the issue will be resolved around a large conference table, or perhaps via teleconference carried over the Web, and this voice will have to be heard.

Obviously, the industry did not exist before the Internet. It is like a baby-industry of its. It cannot let it see someone ruin it. Perhaps it needs to mature for its and everybodys good sake. And this indeed can be done, as the English example shows us so well; the UK government regulation efforts are cleaning out the industry from dishonest casinos and encourages efforts to block casinos from underage gamblers.

Leave it to the blogs and see how the Internet takes care of its own.
