Will Oprah Back iPad Gambling 2011?

Oprah Winfrey announced her favorite things for 2010 to much fanfare, and mobile gamblers players will be familiar with her chief selection - Apple's iPad, which she called her "ultimate favorite thing."

Oprah, who is currently filming the final season of the talk show that she has hosted for decades and that has made her one of the world's most recognizable personalities, unveiled the list of dozens of products and activities in an episode that went to air across the US this week.

The list included the usual watch and jewelry selections, as well as the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle, but the Apple iPad beat them all to the number one spot.

The tablet computer has become enormously popular with mobile gamblers, who have been able to use the device for those purposes since leading online casino and sports book operator Betfair launched the first ever betting application for the device.

iPad 2, the new and improved version of the device, is slated for official release some time in the first quarter of 2011, which is good news for both Oprah Winfrey and online gamblers.
