British firm City Index has launched its award-winning spread betting and CFD trading function for Blackberry, Android, Windows and Java mobile devices.

This latest move follows the recent release of an updated version of the iPhone trading app, complete with a powerful live charting package and newsfeeds from Dow Jones newswires.

The original iPhone spread betting and CFD trading app, City Trading, was launched in October 2009 to give clients full access to trading account via their mobile. Since then the percentage of total trades placed on City Index mobile platform has risen from 3% to a whopping 15%.
