The Golden Palace Casino, one of the industry leaders, has recently won a bid on eBay for the rights to advertise on the belly of a pregnant woman named Amber Rainey. Ms. Rainey was paid $4,050 to promote the casino by flashing her belly on several events and concerts. The site arranged for Rainey to have the Golden Palace logo temporarily tattooed to her pregnant belly, and she had planned to keep it until the baby is born.

This is not the first time that the Golden Palace has resorted to such unusual promotional tactics. In fact, it has participated in auctions before, paying a hefty sum of $28,000 for a 10-year-old grilled cheese sandwich carrying the engraved image of the Virgin Mary. It has spent another $10,700 for a bumper sticker in an effort to help a 9-year-old boy inflicted with cancer. In addition, it has also paid $65,000 for a walking cane that is presumed to have ghostly spirits instilled in it.

However, their most unusual stunt by far would have to be the time when they won yet another bid, this time for the right to permanently tattoo their logo on the forehead of a guy named Brent Moffatt. Using eBay, Moffatt auctioned the space on his forehead to the highest bidder, promising to vigorously promote the winner at every chance he gets. Always on the lookout for publicity, the people over at the Golden Palace couldn´t resist the temptation to have their brand imprinted on the guy´s forehead for all eternity.

While you can argue with their tactics, you cannot argue with the results. The Golden Palace has consistently remained one of the most popular online casinos out there. Adding a shock-value to their promotional ads has managed to keep their public image fresh and contemporary, which is one of the reasons why they have been able to stick around for so long.
