Baseball Player Pitched New Deal

This offer came within only a few hours after Giambi lost his endorsement deal with Nike. Earlier this year, Giambi was also dropped by Pepsi and Arm & Hammer, who elected not to renew his contract. It is highly unlikely that Giambi will receive this offer, given the murky legal status of online casinos in the US.
Ever since it was reported that he used performance enhancing drugs, Giambi´s public image has suffered one blow after the other. So far, Giambi hasn´t managed to regain his old form, not to mention his old superstar status. The former 2000 major league MVP has struggled this season both as a hitter and a fielder. In his heyday, Giambi had sponsors lining-up to acquire his services. Now, it seems that none of them wants anything to do with him. Nevertheless, the online casino apparently believes that Giambi has some juice left in him, and it´s willing to stake a big chuck of money on that. The chances of Giambi actually accepting the offer seem slim to none, in light of the fact that this particular online casino also deals with sports betting. Giambi public image has hit rock bottom, and he can´t afford any other slip-ups. For mere appearance´s sake, a professional athlete cannot appear to be receiving money from anyone that accepts bets on the outcome of sporting matches that he participates in. Plus, the league offices will never allow it to happen anyways. |
Disgruntled Yankee star, Jason Giambi, has reportedly received an offer from an online casino named SportsInterAction. The endorsement deal is said to be worth $3 million annually.
