With strict banking limitations imposed on online gambling in the United States, many players do not want to use their bank as a payment option when using these sites. Aware of this problem, Celeb Poker has decided to alleviate some of the payment pressure from its players and has announced an additional payment option, in the form of Firepay onto its list of recognized payment systems for players from the US and Canada.

Americans make up half of the players in the world who play Texas Holdem online. The laws and regulations of credit card companies and many banks make it preferable for US players not to use these options when making payments to online casino sites. Celeb Poker currently offers its users Neteller but has now added Firepay as a recognized payment system for North American users.

A Firepay account is a web-based payment option that work like a debit card. A player will deposit money into their Firepay account directly from their bank account and can then immediately purchase chips to play poker online. There is no charge to sign up, pay with, or send funds from Firepay to the online casino and a player will only be charged a small fee to make a deposit from a bank account into the Firepay account.
