The draw for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa was completed on Friday and now all that is left is for the festivities to begin next June - but not without some odds updates from Online Casino Reports.

Given their easy draw, European champions Spain have unsurprisingly remained the favorite for the time being, given 4/1 odds at Ladbrokes and 9/2 odds at William Hill.

England - who were gifted perhaps the easiest path through the group stage with matches against the United States, Slovenia, Algeria - have moved into second position in the betting odds with 5/1 odds at both of the aforementioned UK bookmakers.

Five-time champions Brazil are always among the favorites, and this time is no different with both bookmakers offering 11/2 odds on an incredible sixth tournament victory.

Four other teams stand out in the betting odds: despite an unimpressive qualifying campaign, Diego Maradona's Argentina are 9/1 at both bookmakers; Germany join them on 9/1 at Ladbrokes but are 12/1 at William Hill; defending champs Italy are 10/1 at Ladbrokes and 12/1 at William Hill; and the Netherlands are 11/1 at Ladbrokes and 14/1 at William Hill.

For a good value bet on some dark horses, the Ivory Coast (Ladbrokes, 25/1, William Hill, 28/1) are Africa's best bet to take out the first tournament ever on the continent, while the United States (Ladbrokes, 66/1, William Hill, 80/1) are roughly in the middle of the pack.

Hosts South Africa are way back at 125/1, level with Australia and Denmark.
