Snowy Bets: Will There Be Football?Britain has been hit by worst early winter weather in two decades. Will there be football?

British bookmaker William Hill is tempting punters with odds of 7/4 on at least one Premier League fixture being postponed this weekend due to snow.

White Weekend

Much of Britain has been blanketed by snow in the last couple of days in the worst early winter weather in almost two decades, causing all flights at Gatwick airport to be suspended and leading to delays on road and rail lines.

In the event that premiership matches do go ahead on the weekend, the pick of the matches appears to be the encounter between fourth-placed Manchester City and big improver Bolton. William Hill has the home team listed as 11/20 favorite to take all three points and stay in the title hunt, while underdog Bolton is 5/1 to cause a boilover.

Meanwhile, Birmingham is rated a 12/5 chance to win at home against Tottenham, 23/20, while lowly Wigan and mid-table Stoke are locked at 7/4 each in the odds to win their match at DW Stadium.

Chelsea continues to lead the title odds, despite giving up top spot to Manchester United after continuing their bad run of form last week with a draw at Newcastle United.

The Blues stand firm at 11/8, ahead of Man U, 7/4, Arsenal, 9/2, Manchester City, 11/1, Tottenham, 28/1, and the other 15 clubs at long odds.
