Lakers Top Cavs in NBA Champ OddsWill Kobe Bryant face LeBron James in the championship decider?

By John W | May 13, 2010

Now that the Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns and Orlando Magic are all comfortably through to the NBA conference finals, all eyes are fixed on the tight series between Boston and Cleveland. Five games in, the Celtics lead the series 3-2 as the teams prepare for game 6 tonight in Boston.

Cleveland and Boston enter the game near equals to win at both Ladbrokes and Titan Bet. The teams are similarly equals also on BetRoyal.

This is clearly a dramatic point for both teams in a series that has seen ups and downs. Lebron and the Lebronettes have been the best team all season long, and as the King expects to enter the most important free agent off-season ever, a ring for Cleveland, his first after 7 years of professional basketball, is a "must".

For Boston, an injury plagued season, with new addition Resheed Wallace shooting poorly from three, the series advantage is a tremendous surprise. Can they repeat their championship effort and form of 2 years ago?

With Cleveland struggling, Kobe Bryant's Los Angeles Lakers head the odds for the NBA championship, 2.75 at Ladbrokes.

But the prospect of a legendary battle with LeBron James is still on the horizon, with Cleveland second favorite at 3.00.

Orlando, 3.10, Phoenix, 7.50, and Boston, 34.00, round out the odds for the season.
