Final day Decision on Chelsea, Man U Battle

Final day Decision on Chelsea, Man U BattleChelsea heads into final day of play needing only victory over Wigan.

The winner of the this season's English Premier League will be decided on the last day of the season - although Chelsea is in the box seat to edge out arch-rival Manchester United.

The chances of the Red Devils claiming a fourth successive title and 12th in 18 years rest in the hands of 15th place Wigan, who have won away from home just three times this season.

The scenario is simple. Chelsea - one point ahead of Manchester United but with a far superior goal difference - would have to lose at home to Wigan on Sunday, while Manchester United would also have to win its home fixture with Stoke City, for the title to head back to Manchester.

Unsurprisingly, the sportsbooks have Chelsea odds on to win the premiership, with the Blues 1/12 at William Hill, against United's 6/1 odds. Ladbrokes is offering 7/1 on United to work a miracle.

The battle for the fourth and final UEFA Champions League spot is just as intense and far more undecided, with William Hill offering 4/5 on Tottenham and 10/11 on Manchester City.

Tottenham, with a one point advantage but inferior goal difference, plays away to 19th place and soon-to-be-relegated Burnley, while Man City travels to 17th place West Ham, who have certainly avoided relegation.

In the Champions League final, to be played May 22 in Madrid, Inter Milan holds sway in the early betting over Bayern Munich. Inter is a 4/7 Ladbrokes favorite, ahead of Bayern, 13/10.

We'll provide more details on the odds for that match as the big game approaches.

Believe me this is in the bag, bookies odds are giving very low odds on Chelsea winning this game combined with the current form of the team, its a done deal.
