Manchester City is odds-on favorite with online bookmakers to win this year's English Premier League title, after the team ensured Wednesday that it would head into Christmas top of the table for the first time since 1929.

City Odds-On for Records

Manchester City are now quoting odds of 8/13 with William Hill Online to win the title. The other contenders are slipping behind: Manchester United, 2/1, Chelsea, Tottenham, 16/1, Arsenal, 33/1, and Liverpool, 80/1. In addition, City are 8/11 to score a record 104 or more Premier League goals this season. They are ahead of schedule with 53 from 17 games so far.

In the just-as-interesting relegation battle, Hill has Blackburn at 4/9 to go down, followed by Wigan, 8/15, Bolton, 10/11, Wolves 7/4, Swansea, 5/2, QPR, 3/1, Norwich, 5/1, Sunderland, 8/1, and Fulham and Aston Villa, both 11/1. Odds are also available on which of those teams will finish bottom, with Blackburn leading at 2/1.
