GTECH G2 will develop online casino games based on popular US television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, after signing a multi-year licensing agreement with CBS Consumer Products.

CSI: Online Gaming

First it was released as CSI: Las Vegas in 2000, and soon spin-offs followed in the forms of CSI: Miami and CSI: New York. Now, thanks to this new deal, the first CSI casino game will become available to GTECH G2 licensees by the end of this year.

The fictional crime show follows a team of forensic investigators who collect and analyze evidence to solve brutal murders. Dominic Mansour, vice president of gaming products for GTECH G2, said that his company would combine that intrigue and suspense with its interactive games to create a product to thrill both game players and CSI fans around the world.

Previous GTECH G2 Success

This latest set of branded games will follow on from the success of previous ventures by the digital gaming company, such as the Sherlock Holmes and Chippendales online slots. The Sherlock Holmes slot, for example, is an exciting 5-reel, 25-line slot game based on the classic detective stories.

Earlier this year, GTECH G2 also previewed another slots game based on a popular title that is slated for release in the coming month, Plants vs Zombies.
