For all the bad news coming out of the United States as far as Full Tilt Poker is concerned, the news is better on this side of the pond as the online poker rooms relaunches a popular TV program.

Poker Lounge

Poker Lounge Returns!

In some great news for British poker players and viewers, 'The Poker Lounge' will return for a second season with 10 episodes to air exclusively in the UK on Channel 4. Based on an older show named Late Night Poker, this show has a six-person format in which the winner takes all.

News reports had circulated in April that Full Tilt cancelled the program midway through filming after an expected wire transfer from Full Tilt subsidiary Pocket Kings reportedly did not arrive. This latest news will come as relief to poker fans who have been following the post-Black Friday news from the US.

Qualify Online

Qualifiers are open to all players, with the lure of a qualifying package worth around £14 thousand, with most of that for the buy-in and the rest to cover travel expenses and accommodation. The winner will take home a massive prize pool worth around £80k

"The Poker Lounge" will go to air July 25, with consecutive one-hour-episodes continuing through to September 26, just before the World Series of Poker season finale.
