Bodog Celebrates 15 Years with Bonuses

Online gambling site Bodog is celebrating its 15th birthday by offering a whole series of promotions for users of its casino, sportsbook and poker services.

In keeping with the theme of 15 years, the site is offering existing customers a 15 percent bonus on online casino and sports betting properties, and 115 percent on top of initial deposits in the Bodog poker room.

New players won't be left out either, with the offer open to new members or players switching channels within Bodog's network of services.

The bonus offer is valid until September 3.

"For many offline businesses, 15 years of existence could be compared to a blink of an eye, but... surviving the Internet for a decade-and-a-half is a great accomplishment," Bodog said in a statement, adding that the next 15 years was easily within its reach.

The History
Founded in 1994 by Canadian Calvin Ayre, the Bodog name has come to be attached to a whole variety of gambling and entertainment services that led to its founder to once refer to it as "not unlike the Virgin-branded venture capital organization founded by Richard Branson."

In fact, Virgin too launched an online casino.

Aside from casino, poker and sports betting services, Bodog Entertainment owns the record company Bodog Music, which oversees several major acts.
