Sick of playing regular slot machines and looking for something a little different? DoylesCasino is now offering slots tournaments, in which you and your slot machine compete with other players.

The online casino, which is named after and endorsed by poker legend Doyle "Dolly" Brunson, is offering the new tournaments as part of a long list of promotions in August, including 50 percent deposit bonuses on slot games.

The slot tournaments are simple to play: Firstly, pay the one-off entry fee, which goes toward the prize pool and toward the rake. Then collect your credits, which can be used with each of spin of the reel during the duration of the tournament

Each tournament last around an hour, with each player earning points. Your participation ends either when your credits run out and or when the time limit is up. The player with the most points at the end is the winner.

Three real-series video slots are currently on offer for slots tournaments: Loose Caboose, which has a cash train theme; Crystal Waters, featuring creatures from under the sea; and Texan Tycoon, in which you can strike it rich on the oil wells.

Regular FreeRolls slots tournament run for all of August, with two $50 FreeRolls per day.
