Financial betting is a relatively new form of betting that has proven very popular amongst online casino customers in the past few years.

Financial betting is essentially a bet on the increase and decrease of shares, Forex or indices.

Ladbrokes online offers two forms of financial betting: spread betting and fixed betting.

In spread betting, you buy a share price if you think the price of a specific company will go up, or you sell the share price if you think it is decrease. Profits and losses are made depending on whether you are right or wrong.

Fixed odds betting is a little different, in that it allows you to bet on whether a specific share will finish above or below a predetermined level.

Online Forex betting works similarly, as does trading in oil and gold, which are all available at major online gaming sites, including Ladbrokes, Paddy Power Trader and the Betfair Betting Exchange.

Financial betting is exciting because it offers a different form of gaming based more on reality, without actually having to go out and play the real stock market or real financials.

Just remember one important thing: that financial betting requires a certain degree of knowledge of financial markets, and therefore carries a higher than usual level of risk. So make sure not to deposit more than you can afford to lose.
