IGT, MGM Launch Cleopatra Mobile App

International Game Technology and MGM Resorts International have launched the popular Cleopatra slots game on the new M life Players Club application for the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices.

Cleopatra: Exclusive to M life

This is the first time that Cleopatra will be available for play on smartphones. It will be accessible to all members of MGM Resorts M life Players Club members on a non-wager basis only for the time being.

M life is the loyalty program of the combined MGM Resorts properties, with casino rewards for land-based, online and now mobile users. The club will expand into a full loyalty program later in 2011, with rewards for hotel stays, shopping and more.

IGT expanding into mobile

IGT, an industry leader in manufacturing gaming machines, has more than eight years experience in the mobile gaming sector and already offers mobile wager games in the United Kingdom and other legalized territories.

Vice president of Interactive for the company, Alex Kelly, said the game features the same graphics and game play that users of the casino title will already be familiar with.

The introduction of Cleopatra will no doubt serve as a testing ground for future mobile app ventures from the company.
