Last week a conference held by the Gaming World, Mr. Newell enlightened the assembled E-gaming executives on the extensive use of debit cards and smart cards that have already found its way across Europe and the U.K. as Internet gaming surges overseas.

Along with debit cards and smart cards other payment options were put on the table. Wire transfers, checks and money orders are but a few suggested at the conference. Paypal, another online payment plan that works by permitting e-mail cash transactions to go through in a secure and safe environment, has already been taken as a method of payment by a number of casinos. This is also precautionary in order to avoid debts.

Nevada law protects casinos in retrieving their money, although certain laws in some parts of the US are not enforced. According to Anthony Cabot, a lawyer and an expert on Internet gambling feels that that the gambling industry might feel the pinch from credit card dealings in the near future. There are online casino companies beyond US borders that are likely to be the founding force behind the future of the online gambling industry.
