Software Provider Chiefs Resign

PartyGaming technology provider announced that Anurag Dikshit, the company's operations director and technology guru, would step down from the board to focus on the development of new products and platforms as head of research and special projects. A spokesman for the technology group said that because Dikshit is so absorbed in his work as technology developer, that they want him to focus on only developing new products and platforms. The technology group said that all their technology is proprietary and most of it is from Dikshit.
In another surprise announcement, Vikrant Bhargava (35) the marketing director, will also step down from the board of the group. Unlike Dikshit, Bhargava will leave the company at the end of the year to pursue other, unspecified interests, and it is unsure if they are in the industry or not. The group said that it has started looking for a replacement both internally and externally, but they hope to retain Bhargava on in advisory capacity after he leaves. The two men hold a significant share in the technology development company - Dikshit held 31 percent, and Bhargava 8.6 percent of the stock. The two have made hundreds of millions in profits when PartyGaming, one of the biggest companies listed itself on London Stock Exchange last year. |
