Yet, affiliate programs are still regarded as a niche market, as a conference organizer has earlier in February. The American conference organizer Ticonderoga Ventures reported that the annual conference, which they organize for affiliates for the past five years, is already sold out. The conference is planned for May 3-5, to take place in Amsterdam and titled Casino Affiliate Convention, or by the acronym CAC.

This, the largest convention of its kind to serve affiliates, marketing and advertising companies, has been a center of attention for the industry year and year out for the past five years, at least the European market. With the market in the United States closed for gambling, affiliates naturally included, Europe has become the center for marketing and the springboard from which the global industry is launched. This explains the massive popularity that the convention receives this year. In 2006 too the attendants numbered over 250 affiliates.

What will the affiliate companies talk about at the convention? Naturally, the most important, urgent and potentially profitable topics. The agenda for the 2007 conference include marketing poker and mobile affiliate. With these topics on the table, around the panel discussion and off the podium, no wonder every affiliate wants a part of the event. However, who ever wishes to register these days will find his company on the waiting list. Since the event is sponsored by large sites such as Ladbrokes and William Hill, the event is even more attractive.
