Many of the players are Wall Street stock brokers and millionaires looking for a little bit of high thrills excitement.

In spite of the 2006 Congress bill banning the transfer of funds from US financial institutions to online casinos, many online casinos are still taking US bets two years after the UIGEA (Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act) was passed. It will be interesting to see what the eventual effect will be if legislation will once again allow for such activity.
