The Budapest Affiliate Conference has just ended, and industry insiders' eyes are turned to the next event. The 9th annual European iGaming Congress and Expo takes place in Copenhagen between 19th and 21st of October.

This is a great networking opportunity for the industry and reflects upon changes and developments in the iGaming market.

Ewa Bakun, the Expo Event Director commented, "with France recently issuing online gaming licenses and Italy working on expanding their regulatory frameworks, the industry is looking closely which countries will follow suit, what regulatory models will be put in place and how this localized regulation will affect the global gaming industry."

Network Selectively

More than 1,000 delegates are expected and to help them all mingle there is a speed dating activity. But don't worry that the large crowd will prevent you from hooking up with those on your wishlist; EiG have a nifty online meeting planner where delegates can schedule in appointments with fellow attendees.

888 Holdings, Bet 365, Betfair, bwin, Ladbrokes, PartyGaming, Paddy Power are among those who have already confirmed their attendance. The event is sponsored by an impressive list of partners including Playtech, Cryptologic and Microgaming.

Spoilt for Choice

The program is varied and topical including presentations, workshops and panel discussions. Highlights include a presentation on operating in different markets, a discussion on the vision for 2015 and a 'What if ... creative thinking, scenario based session. Also on offer are'gaming meets gambling - lessons learnt and shared between the two gaming worlds' and 'the future is mobile'.

There's lots to inspire and energize at this years EIG event; it's a great way to consider the future and learn from your peers.
