Microgaming Spin3 Launches Mobile Sportsbook

Microgaming-powered mobile gambling solutions provider Spin3 has launched its new mobile sportsbook app for the British sports betting market.

The new app, SpinSport, is designed to run on popular Apple mobile devices iPhone, iPod, iPad and more. Powered by software developer Sports Betting Tech, online gambling operator 10Bet has already become the first to launch the app to the public.

Head of Spin3 Matti Zinder said that the new app will be accessible to companies wanting to branch out into mobile betting, such as online sportsbooks and other online and mobile gambling companies.

"We have applied all of the experience we have accumulated in mobile handset technology, interface design, usability and back-office technology in the development of SpinSport to create the most advanced mobile sports betting solution available today," Zinder said, adding that the product was the culmination of six years of innovation in mobile eGaming.

This latest sportsbook app includes many features that are sure to prove popular with mobile users, such as in-play betting, quick navigation and of course access to personal betting history.

Mobile betting market grows

The last year has seen an explosion in the use of mobile gambling apps, but nowhere has the trend been felt more than in mobile betting, which according to a recent report from Juniper Research accounts for more than three-quarters of all mobile gaming activity.
