While the US congress is still in limbo on their stance on the issue of online gambling, there are some congressmen that are pushing and trying to speed up the situation and want to see a ban on Internet Gambling implemented as soon as possible. Many gaming "goers" have expressed their concerns on this issue and thus believe that their first amendment rights are not being kept.

A loud outpour of such a free- will act to be outlawed, has sent the Interactive Gaming Council {IGC} out in protest and are advising people to also go out and lobby against the possible legislation prohibiting online gambling.

The IGC's appeal is as follows:
Are you a US resident and enjoy participating in online entertainment, whether gambling or otherwise? Would you like to express your views about U.S. legislative efforts to impinge on your freedom of choice? Tell your Representative and Senators to oppose the so-called Unlawful Internet Gambling Funding Prohibition Acts!
