Blackjack Switch at the Online Casino

Variations are at times viewed as inferior to its parent game, but Blackjack Switch truly has a life of its own. Here you have two hands under your control. Both hands have their own betting pocket. Initially you must wager equal bets on both hands. There is also a special "super match" betting pocket. The super match bets win when your initial four cards contain two or more matching cards. Note that the odds for "super match" bets are written on the table.
Apart from a few minor changes, Blackjack Switch has very similar rules to Standard Blackjack played online. Switch is played with six decks, which are shuffled after every round; dealer hits on soft 17, players may double at any time and so on. One of the differences in this game is that in Switch, the dealer always plays the "soft 17" rule, e.g. the dealer must always draw additional card when he has 17 with an ace. The greatest advantage the house receives in the Blackjack Switch variation is the fact that the dealer can reach a total hand of 22 without busting. A dealer hand of 22 will tie a player's 21 hand, unless the player has a blackjack. Notice that if you hit 22 you still bust. Blackjack pays a ratio of 1 to 1 and players will always lose on push. Blackjack Switch allows players to do what is generally considered cheating: trade cards between two hands, and in this lies its major appeal. |
The game of Blackjack has a decent amount of variations that appear on the web and in the land based casinos, but one of the most popular variation of this classic game is "Blackjack Switch".
