Who's the $64 Million Dollar Man?

A Californian lottery player managed to match up all six numbers in this week's MEGA Millions draw earning a $64 million stash of cash. The lucky player, the sole winner, has not yet stepped forward.

The June 16th draw was particularly lucky for punters: in addition to the jackpot winner, two others are in line for a fortune of their own, both having matched up five numbers but not the Mega number. Their tickets are worth a hefty $110,076.

Good Fortune Shines on Vendor Too

The winner is not the only one counting their blessings: the retailer who sold the jackpot winning ticket is also in line for a big reward to the tune of 0.5% - it may sound small but with a jackpot this huge it will actually net the fortunate lottery vendor an incredible $320,000!

Two More Big Wins

Lottery fans have seen their luck come in with MEGA Million draw recently, just a few weeks back, on June 22 a New York player scooped up a massive $26 million after matching all six numbers. According to Mega Millions the odds of matching all five numbers plus the Mega number is 1 in 175,711,536.

Mega Millions just loves dishing out the dosh and has awarded three jackpots of more than $300 million, including the largest ever North American jackpot of $390 million in November 2005.

The Mega Millions' mystery winner is being urged to come forward and collect his or her winnings. No doubt lottery ticket buyers from 16 July are scrambling to check their tickets just in case they are harboring one that will lead them to a life-changing win.
