Poker Players We'd Love To Meet

Poker is a sport like no other, for any ordinary John Doe can become a megastar known by millions overnight. It was tough selecting which pros I'd most like to meet, but I've narrowed the list down to half-a-dozen, in no particular order.

Leo Margets Pérez

The stunning 27-year-old Spaniard only began playing poker four years ago. Since then she 888poker ambassador has won the 2010 Full Tilt Poker Masters Series in Barcelona, finished third at the 2010 Aussie Millions, and was last woman standing at the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event.

Jennifer Tilly

The Academy Award nominee actress and WSOP Ladies' Event bracelet winner resumed her poker career in January 2010 after a brief retirement. She was also a star of Celebrity Poker Showdown.

Vanessa Rousso

Also known as Lady Maverick, the French-American law student finished ninth on the PokerStars earnings list for 2010. Rousso has finished in the money rounds 13 times at WSOP events and has also featured on hit NBC program Poker After Dark.

Phil Ivey

An ambassador for leading Full Tilt Poker, Ivey has earned almost $14 million in live tournaments, making him second on the all-time money list. Like many other poker players, he has been charitable with his money, giving to numerous causes including support for underprivileged children.

Daniel Negreanu

The highest money earner of all time, Canadian Negreanu has won four WSOP bracelets and two World Poker Tour titles. A member of the PokerStars team, Negreanu burst onto the scene in 1998 when at age 22 he became the youngest WSOP bracelet winner in history, a record he held until 2004.

Gus Hansen

A Danish native who today resides in Monaco, one-time WSOP bracelet winner Hansen is the winner of three World poker Tour titles and the 2007 Aussie Millions main event. He was also voted one of People Magazine's 50 sexiest men in 2004, and I'd like to ask him for advice on the ladies.
