There is so much buzz around the upcoming episode of The Simpsons that online casinos started taking bets on the details of revelation. No longer strictly limited to casino games or sporting events, the sites have moved on. The Simpsons is one of the longest running TV shows and has accumulated a massive following since the program first aired over 10 years ago. What is especially ground breaking about this smash hit television series is that it is entirely animated. Recent news about one of the shows well known characters is generating a huge buzz about the upcoming episode. So much so that some gambling sites are even taking bets on which character will be participating in a gay marriage on the show. Simpson fans on waiting on the edge of their seats to find out who will come out and the sites are even taking bets on it.

One such site is BetUS.com. "Fan Websites are running rampant with speculation that the mystery gay character could be any one of the animated sitcom stars," says Mike Foreman, spokesperson for the online casino BetUS.com. "Online gambling is no longer focused solely on sports; entertainment wagers are gaining popularity among bettors," says Foreman. "The Simpsons craze is just one of many new betting options available to our players."

Foreman believes that the future of online betting is diversification. People are not only interested in betting on sports events. "Now men and women can experience the same exhilaration that sports fans experience when they lay down a wager on their favorite team. Placing a wager on a TV show makes the show even more fun and exciting to watch," said Foreman.

According to BetUS, the odds are on Simpsons characters Patty as the favorite at 4/5, and Mr. Burns' sidekick, Smithers, is the second favorite at 4/1.
