Online Casinos Get a Boost in the UK

Like in the US, online casinos were not allowed to operate in the UK but there has been a proposal to reform the online gambling laws in recent months. Now, as it turns out, the controversial UK gambling bill has passed parliament and received Royal agreement this month in England.

The gambling bill, which will have a bearing on wagering in the UK, was approved by the House of Lords after the government revised plans for eight new super casinos to just one. The gambling restricts are still actual but there may be some reforms in this area of gambling as well in the near future. Overall, the UK gambling industry was very happy with the reforms in the UK laws and the news that the government will soon regulate online gaming is causing much hype in the arena.
