Full House Poker on Xbox Live
Microsoft is set to launch a new poker application game called Full House Poker for its Xbox Live console this coming spring. Xbox PokerThe game, which is sure to get heads spinning in the online poker world, will be played with pretend chips and will offer tournaments and heads-up games with graphics at the standard one is usually accustomed to finding on live television broadcasts. As is usually the case with Xbox 360 games, players will be given the option of competing against the computer or against each other. Up to 30 players will be able to compete in any given tournament. Texas Hold'em makes an appearance, as does a special Texas Heat mode, in which players can compete in live events at tables of up to 10 competitors. Table winners continue to move on to later rounds, with the winner of the top table becoming tournament champion. PrizesAnother bonus of the game is the virtual prize section, with more than 150 prizes locked away, including special locations, chairs and cards, and avatars of professional poker players. The new game, which can be downloaded free of charge, takes the place of another game based on television, 1 vs. 100, which was stopped due to a lack of funds. |
