Big News

In another big boost for the rapidly growing Italian online gaming market, Hill will launch its new site later in July, after becoming one of the first companies to win a gaming licence from Italian regulator AAMS. It will then quickly be added to Online Casino Reports Italy.

The first site to be launched will be an online casino, but this will be followed soon afterwards by online bingo and sportsbook sites and a poker room. This will all be supported by an intensive marketing campaign.

Italian online gaming grows

William Hill is well aware of just how big the gaming market is in Italy, one of Europe's largest countries with a population of 60 million. They have spent over a year developing their site with the aim of competing for a slice of local online betting and gaming market, estimated to be worth 6 billion euros.

CEO Henry Birch said at the company's Italian launch that it is the passion for sports and gaming that makes Italy one of the most important markets in its plans for international expansion.
