From the outset, it must be known that in Baccarat Banque, there is no option of passing on the shoe between players at a Baccarat table. In other words, the position of banker is much more permanent and continues until he/she retires or exhausts all finances. Baccarat Banque differs from Chemin de Fer in respect of the banker position. In the latter it only continues as long as a player is winning, otherwise it rotates between players.

Baccarat Banque Gaming

Getting started is a cinch. Usually around 3 packs of cards are shuffled together and the banker continues until all cards have been dealt. The banker position is put up to auction with the highest risk taker usually claiming the spoils.

Baccarat Banque Croupier/Banker

The banker takes his/her place halfway down one of the sides of an oval table facing the croupier. Bettors - known as punters - sit on either side of the banker. The banker shuffles last and determines who cuts the cards being dealt out. Then 3 cards are dealt out in this order: to the player on the right of the banker, then to the player on the left of the banker, and then to the banker him/herself. This takes place twice.

Scoring by the rules is the same in Baccarat Banque as it is in Baccarat Chemin de Fer. There is competition between players to the right of the banker and those to the left of the banker. Up to 10 players can be hosted at onetime. A person seated to the right of the croupier can go bank first. After that a player to the left of a croupier can go bank during the following coup.And so forth.

Any Baccarat punter can go back 3 times while losing each time, but that is the limit. In Baccarat Banque, the dealer performs the functions of a dealer. That is the reason that players can have bigger bets than when a player is a banker.
