Bamboos

One of three suits in Mahjong, also known as bams or sticks.

Characters

One of the three suits in Mahjong, also known as cracks.

Discard

A rejected tile in Mahjong, or card in Rummy, which may be claimed by another player.

Going Mahjong

Declaring a hand worth eight points or more. Also known as Going Out.

Meld

A set in Mahjong.
