Texas Holdem Glossary

This game includes a combination of personally dealt cards and shared cards, dealt face up, for all participating players to use in forming their hand. Famous variants of this game include Texas Hold'em and Omaha Hold'em.

A term used in poker, including in Texas Hold ‘em, which represents the ratio of the current size of the pot to the cost of a call about to be made. For instance, if the pot is $100 and the call about to be made $10, then the pot odds are 100:10.
