bet365 Introduces New HTML5 Desktop SitePublished December 8, 2016 by Mike P
bet365 has given its desktop users a brand new site that has been designed for HTML5. The In-Play section has received a number of major upgrades.
bet365 has unveiled a new version of its desktop sportsbook that will give users a more consistent experience across their different devices. Fundamentally, bet365 has replaced its older Flash website with an HTML5 version that looks closer to the mobile site and is also more functional. For reference, this change only impacts bet365’s desktop sportsbook.
Users will notice the first big change after they log in to their account. At this stage, users will see that Financials has been replaced by My Bets in the header bar at the top of the homepage. The purpose of My Bets will be to give users a large space in which to browse their current bets, with Cash Out and other options available.
In-Play Adjustments Made
bet365 has also adjusted the In-Play section to display the various events by competition. This has been done to make the in-play events easier to browse, with players given the option to shrink any tournaments or competitions that do not appeal to them. bet365 has also decided to integrate this option when dealing with match lists.
The In-Play section has also received a horizontal option bar that will further improve search-ability. Users will have the ability to simply click on their preferred sports to find the in-play events that most appeal to them. A Favourites section has been included for added convenience, while it is also possible to search by live streaming events.
bet365 has also determined that its live schedule will no longer focus on dates, but will instead display the events within their relevant sporting categories. As an example of this feature in action, football fans will have the ability to look at only the in-play events that are relevant to them, with a weekly schedule now in place. All of these features are now available over at bet365.
