Familiar iGaming organization GiGse is rolling out an innovative new program in a highly appealing setting.

Time to Activate

Activate 2027 is the name of the latest GiGse symposium set to take place in San Diego from April 26-28 to discuss the rapid pace of technological advances in the specific context of regulatory reform.

Overview

The program will welcome US facing executives from all parts of the gambling landscape to network and debate in order to blaze the path for the next decade of US gaming.

Content Provider Speaks

GiGse Content curator Sadie Walters of Clarion Events assured that “We’ve worked closely with members of the GiGse Advisory Board, GiGse delegates and attendees at February’s ICE Totally Gaming show in London in order to create an event which not only deals with the here and now but...look(s) to the future” as well.

Shaking Things Up

As for the event themes themselves, Walters points out how “the industry may need to reposition itself away from the narrow vertical of gambling to become part of the broader, more exciting and indeed more accepted entertainment industry.”

Topics

To this end, some of the topics scheduled to be covered at GiGse 2017 include: Implementing and optimising social gaming/casino to generate revenue and convert players to the casino floor; Implementing and monetizing Skill-based gaming, virtual reality and eSports; the regulatory environment of social gaming, skill-based gaming, eSports and DFS; and the future scenarios of Sports Betting in the USA.

What GiGse is Doing

For people trying to understand the nature of this event better, it is good to understand the GiGse organizational strategy. GiGse exists to support gaming brands in balancing their current and future investment.

How Activate 2017 Fits

Activate 2017 deals with current challenges and opportunities by drawing on outside industry input to shepherd a profitable future path for ambitious gaming brands.

The Purpose of Innovation

Ewa Bakun, Clarion Gaming’s Head of Content explained: “The approach of addressing conventional thinking and turning it on its head is high on the agenda...GiGse’s role is to add some constructively disruptive thinking to the debates surrounding gaming in the United States.”

Outlook

GiGse’s straightforward 2-track format will focus on social gaming journey alongside an AI customer experience that should provide fresh eyes for all who attend.
