Novomatic to Back Macao Gaming Show in Exclusive Three-Year AgreementPublished January 4, 2016 by Lee R
The SAR government and Novomatic can now join MGS in connecting Asian gaming to the world.
One of the world's largest gaming and technology development companies has legitimized the Macao Gaming Show with an exclusive three-year agreement.
The agreement will span the 2016-2018 shows, which for the duration Novomatic will maintain the only solo exhibition attendance in the Macau marketplace.
The agreement spreads Novomatic's visibility and reach substantially, extending Novomatic’s presence on the MGS showfloor for the next three annual Macao Gaming Shows. This also strengthens the ties between Novomatic and its key Asian partners Jade Entertainment and Gaming Technologies Inc, along with Macau-based Laxino Systems Ltd. The sponsorship agreement will into effect at 2016 MGS from the 15-17 of November at the Venetian Macao.
With 23,000 employees and several thousand operations, partners and clients spread across 8 countries, Novomatic CEO Harold Neumann expressed his belief that “Novomatic has once again taken an industry lead” with the new commitment.
Of the two current annual B2B trade show sponsorship options, Novomatic chose to get behind MGS based on a thorough evaluation of visitor demand combined with an assessment of future growth potential and market significance.
MGEMA Chairman Jay Chun, head of the company that owns and organises MGS,
welcomed the partnership as “a significant step forward for the Macao Gaming Show.” He characterized the partnership as consistent with the trade show's aspirations for growth and development to realize MGS vision of delivering Asia’s “one stop shop.”
The exhibition is bolstered in this vision by additional conferences and new initiatives of MGEMA to link the international business community with what is rapidly turning into a vibrant commercial scene in Macau as well as a vital Asian hub for B2B networking.
SAR Government Support
Chun also acknowledged the vital support of the Macau SAR Government, as well as the backing of the 100 leading game and entertainment companies in Macau and Asia to make MGS more appealing to Novomatic in securing the sponsorship bid.
Bringing Asia to the World
The cooperation of all stakeholders in the deal will effectively launch the next phase of MGS development: opening up the Asian industry to the world.
