Tonight: Special Christmas Snow and TV Bets at William HillPublished December 24, 2014 by Amir G
White Christmas and top TV programme betting specials are offered at William Hill this Christmas Eve.
Christmas is here and everyone's at rest before the Premier League games of Boxing Day. Online sportsbook William Hill Sports is offering its traditional Christmas specials: Holiday punters can spice up the festive day with two unique betting markets which close down tonight at 2am UK time.
Will it Be a White Christmas?
The first market asks punters to estimate whether tomorrow will be a White Christmas in the UK. Forecasters at UK's metric office warned of severe water in Christmas Day, estimating that the North East coast could see snow tomorrow although it is not expected to settle.
According to the predictions, Boxing Day will see a weather bomb in the UK with plummeting temperatures making for a wintery holiday. William Hill's books comply with the Met office, giving Aberdeen 9/4 for snowfall tomorrow. Right behind are Edinburgh and Glasgow with 7/2, Newcastle with 6/1 and both Belfast and Leeds with 7/1. To make sure, snow must fall at any time during the twenty four hours of Christmas Day – snow already lying on the ground doesn’t count.
Bet on Top Christmas TV Programmes
Whether it will snow or not, Christmas UK TV programmes are sure to warm up this cold holiday. William Hill is offering outright markets on the top TV programme this Christmas which will be at top of the rating charts.
William Hill's top programme with 4/5 odds is Mrs. Brown's Boys, BBC Scotland's sitcom which gained a lot of fans in Ireland and the UK. Following closely is Eastenders with 11/4, Miranda with 5/1 and the annual Queen's Speech at 12/1. UTV's two-hour long Downtown Abbey is at 33/1 and Strictly Come Dancing and Top of the Pops along others are at 100/1.
Tune-in William Hill this Christmas Eve, place your bets and have yourself a Merry Christmas!
