The Slot Academy
Getting direct training from a casino expert and learning how to make a casino run more smoothly.
The Slot Academy was founded back in 2007 as a way to teach operators the different aspects of managing a casino, be it online or land-based. Over the years, it has grown into one of the biggest training programs in the industry and is now held twice a year in order to stay up to date with the latest changes and opportunities which appear in different markets.
In-House or Open Training
There are two formats used for training by the Slot Academy. The first one is In-House Training and it caters directly to the casino and the staff. The services are delivered to the destination of choice, which usually means right at the casino. One of the founders, Lucien Wijsman, will take the lead throughout the training program and will help improve the performance of the team, with a guarantee that the casino will be more effective once everything is done.
The second format is Open Training and it is held with a class of small groups in senior management positions at casinos. This allows Lucien to focus on every attendant while also covering important general aspects of the program. There are multiple courses available and each of them focuses on one specific subject, typically taking more than four days. Managers can then go back to the casinos and implement what they learned.
