The 2026 Primetime Emmy Awards are attracting growing interest in prediction markets, with traders considering major series, performers, streaming services, and even some unexpected red-carpet possibilities.

This year, the 78th Awards, given by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, are scheduled for September 14, 2026.
The biggest Emmy Awards markets cover everything from individual acting categories to of many awards certain shows could collect. Here are the 12 markets attracting the most volume.
This is currently the biggest Emmys prediction market, with around $146,000 in volume. The overwhelming favourite is the 0-1 Emmy range at 99%. The 2-3, 4-5, and 6-7 ranges are each below 1%.
This market sits at ⁓$115,000 in volume. The Late Show With Stephen Colbert leads the market at 86%. Last Week Tonight With John Oliver follows at 4%, Saturday Night Live at 2.3%, and Jimmy Kimmel Live! at 2%.
With ⁓$112,000 in volume, the Hacks awards total is another closely watched market. The 2-3 Emmy range leads at 56%, while 0-1 sits at 29% and the 4-5 range is at 7.5%.
With around $100K, Widow’s Bay is the clear favourite at 83%. Hacks follows at 14.6%, with Abbott Elementary and Margo’s Got Money Troubles further behind.
Streaming platforms get their own prediction market, with almost $98,000 in volume. Apple TV dominates at 96%. HBO Max is next at 2.7%, while Netflix and Hulu are both below 1%.
The Beef awards total market has around $70,000 in volume. The 0-1 range leads at 52.5%, narrowly ahead of 2-3 at 45%. The higher award totals are currently below 1%.
This market has attracted approximately $64,000. Oscar Isaac, representing Beef, leads with 70%. Matthew Rhys of The Beast in Me has 22%, followed by Riz Ahmed and Charlie Hunnam.
Around $58,000 has gone into this acting market. Sarah Pidgeon leads at 36.6%, closely followed by Carey Mulligan at 35%. Sally Field and Sarah Snook complete the leading contenders.
The Widow’s Bay total market has generated roughly $55,000. The 4-5 Emmy range leads comfortably at 68%, with 6-7 at 19.8% and 2-3 at 13%.
With about $58,000 in volume, Katherine LaNasa is leading at 73%. Karolina Wydra follows at 10.4%, while Sepideh Moafi and Allison Janney are further back.
In a market that has around $53,000 in volume, the 4-5 range currently leads at 53%, while 2-3 sits at 33%. Higher totals remain comparatively unlikely.
The final market in the top 12 has attracted about $46,000. It is a close contest between Harrison Ford of Shrinking and Stephen Root of Widow’s Bay - both sitting at 43%.

Prediction markets often get more interesting as an event approaches. Two new props have appeared with a rather different flavour.
One prop bet asks: Will anyone drop an Emmy on stage? The market currently gives the event a 47% chance of happening, with Yes priced at $91.70 and No at $98.70.
Another prop asks: Will anyone insult Donald Trump during the Emmys? That market is almost evenly balanced, with a 51% chance of Yes. Yes is currently priced at $0.55, while No sits at $0.61.
These markets add a little unpredictability to an awards night otherwise dominated by familiar questions about winners. More categories could also appear hours before the ceremony.
