A: I am Marcus Fairall, the Creative Director for Alchemy Gaming. I have been responsible for all of Alchemy Gaming's brands since the beginning in 2019. I've been in the online casino space since 2006 and have worked my way up from a Junior Game Designer to Head of Creative at Alchemy Gaming.
A: Part of the Alchemy Gaming DNA is that we are always looking at how we can bring engaging new mechanics to the market. Cashingo™ was an obvious choice because of the impact we have seen it have on the industry at large. It's an in-game mechanic that genuinely resonates, and we felt there was still so much creative territory left to explore within it.
We knew we could build on it in a meaningful way, and bringing Kong into the equation gave us the perfect vehicle to do that. The character and the mechanic felt like a natural fit from the very beginning.
A: Yes, we took a good look at previous iterations of Cashingo™ titles and figured out what worked best; we naturally took inspiration from them! It’s important to us that the essence of the Cashingo™ mechanic is there, but we were keen to insert our own creative flair, bringing something new to the table.
We are always looking to take content to the next level, and I truly believe bringing Kong into the equation has helped us achieve that.
A: Both Yellow and Green Bananas have cash values on them. Whenever a Yellow Banana lands on the reels, it is added to the corresponding position on the Cashingo™ grid.
Players can also increase the value of a position in the grid by adding more bananas to the same position. The cash is added together, and over time, there's potential to build up the cash values. On top of all that, players can also add jackpots to the grid via Yellow Jackpot Bananas.
A: Absolutely, the one big change we are making to the Cashingo™ mechanic in Rumble Kong is that we build up Cashingo™ multipliers by collecting non-winning scatters into the Banana Meter, and when you fill up the meter, you upgrade the multiplier up to an impressive 500x.
At the start of Free Spins, Rumble Kong will smash the Banana Meter and distribute the Multiplier over the grid, which in turn creates significant win potential on the grid.
A: HOT MODE™ is such a great feature. Rumble Kong throws on his summer shirt and sunglasses as the game visually heats up; it's a moment that always raises a smile.
The idea was to strip the game back to its core, focusing purely on cash values and Cashingo™ wins. No distractions, just bananas and the grid. It creates a very different rhythm to the base game, and that contrast is part of what makes it so satisfying when it kicks in. It really is a novel way to experience the game, and one of those features that players tend to remember.
A: Rumble Kong is the star of the show. Right from the start of this game, we knew we wanted to invest the time into making a host character that comes alive and brings loads of entertainment value. Kong doesn't just dance and celebrate; he engages with the game and adds to the entertainment along the way. I am proud of how our team has brought him to life; it was worth all the effort.
A: Oh, absolutely! Our intention was always to start a new franchise, and we invested so much time and care into making sure Rumble Kong was exactly right. He needed to have enough personality to carry a brand forward. to be entertaining, expressive, and genuinely fun to be around.
So much attention has gone into developing a character with real depth and charm. Also, who doesn't love tropical jungle vibes? We think there's a lot more story to tell with Kong, and we're excited about where the franchise could go from here.
A: I think Rumble Kong CASHINGO™ will have broad appeal due to the accessible theme and character, but the bonus-rich slot has so much depth with all the features that it should also resonate with those looking for a richer gameplay experience.
A: We have some exciting developments coming in our Bass Cash™ franchise that we think will genuinely delight fans of the series, and who knows, maybe something a little darker and scarier is on the horizon, too.
