Frank Fahrenkopf announces appearance at Amsterdam online gambling conference.
American Gaming Association President Frank Fahrenkopf will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming iGaming SuperShow being held in Amsterdam on June 11-14, conference organizers iGaming Business have announced.
Big name speaker
Fahrenkopf is held in high esteem as an expert and campaigner for US gambling regulation and reforms. He rose to prominence in the 1980s when he serves as Republican Party chairman for most of President Ronald Reagan's eight-year tenure in the White House, and before that practiced as a trial and gaming lawyer in Nevada.
Most importantly, this will be the last time Fahrenkopf speaks as AGA president and CEO, given his recent announcement that he will be standing down mid-year after 17 years in the role. He leaves American online gambling in a good situation now that Nevada and other states have introduced reforms to legalise the practice.
iGaming Super Show
The iGaming Super Show contains seven different exhibitions in the one location, and attendance is free for members of the online gaming industry. Some of the biggest industry names will be speaking at the various events, including Playtech CEO Mor Weizer and Nevada State Gaming Control Board Chairman AG Burnett.
Facebook will be participating at one of the shows, the mGaming and Social Gambling Summit, where they will discuss the real-money gaming relationship to social gaming.
Online Casino Reports will be there too, in our role as one of the marketing partners.
