Bet on the BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2012

With the nation still reeling from a monumental sporting summer, all eyes are now 2012 BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards. The ceremony takes place on Sunday 16 December and the question 'who is going to win the BBC Personality of the Year 2012 award' has long been burning on the nation's lips.

Since 2012 was such an extraordinary sporting year for us, organizers have decided to include 12 not 10 candidates in the BBC Sports personality of the year shortlist. On the top table are national heroes Bradley Wiggins, Mo Farah and Jessica Ennis.

Jennifer Ennis, the poster girl of the 2012 Olympics brought in Team GB's twelfth olympic gold medal in the heptathalon.

And of course there is golden boy Bradley Wiggins, who will go down as the first Brit in history to win the Tour de France. Oh, and not forgetting the staggering 4 Olympic Gold Winner he won this summer.

The winner is decided by the British public, and therefore the outcome is perhaps more predictable than had it been a jury selection.
