Eventus Hosts a Scandinavian Gaming Show For the Ages

Two days of insights into protective growth management in the unfamiliar but exciting market of Scandinavia was delivered effectively by Eventus last week.

Eventus International have proudly crowned their Scandinavian Gaming Show 2019 a rousing success.

The Event

The 2nd annual event last week drew overwhelming positive responses from attendees, where a full house of senior level participants from across convened from 5 to 6 September at Copenhagen's Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel.

The Highlights

The festivities were kicked off by event Chairperson Christina Thakor-Rankin on Day One, followed by the Danish Online Gambling Association/Nordic Gambling CEO Morten Ronde's keynote address on the Gaming Code of Conduct in Denmark.

Day 1

A Day 1 highlights was the panel on an informative panel discussion on the Marketing of Gambling Advertising in the Scandinavian Countries followed, as adroitly moderated by Swedish Trade Association General Secretary Gustaf Hoffstedt. The lively panel members included EMIRAT AG Board Member Frank Herold; SuprNation Co-founder and Director Henric Andersson; Veikkaus Casino Games Business Unit VP Jan Hagelberg; Ronde, and Dutch Trade Association of Online Gamblers MD/Consultant CEO Peter-Paul de Goeij.

Day Two

Day Two was jump started by Otmore Limited Country Manager Fredrik Ljungman's Country keynote address on Insights into the Changes in Brand Strategies of Different Companies within the Industry.

Further highlights for the day included a look at How to Best Handle Technical Compliance in Both Denmark and Sweden Where a Prescribed Process of Change Management is in Place, featuring live input from Betfair Senior Product Manger of International Compliance Strategy Alex Iliopoulos and Maxima Compliance Managing Director Antonio Zanghi, as moderated by PwC Indirect Tax Manager Henrik Høyer Schou.
